Our Dark Roast Hōjicha comes from Kyoto, Japan, where Japanese green tea is deeply roasted and finely milled into a smooth powder. The result is a warm, comforting cup with notes of toasted hazelnut and caramel, a mellow sweetness and very little of the grassy character associated with matcha.

Packaged in a 100 g resealable refill pouch, it's designed to keep your matcha fresh while making it easy to refill your Shēdo 30g tin or your favourite airtight container.

Smooth enough to drink straight and especially good with milk, hot or iced.
